LAKEWOOD ACOUSTIC GUITARS

Lakewood Guitars have been in the business of making acoustic guitars since 1986 when the company was founded by Martin Seeliger. Martin's years of experience as a guitar maker have been put to good effect guiding his team of 12 luthiers in making understated, flawless, musical acoustic guitars. All the guitars feature nothing but the finest tonewoods - European Spruce, Mahogany, Ovangkol, Walnut, Cedar and Rosewood. The electro acoustic guitars all feature the Lakewood Sonic system - developed in conjunction with Shadow. This system features a magnetic pickup under the fretboard and a Nanoflex bridge pickup which also picks up the vibration of the guitar soundboard. The Sonic System controls are mounted by the soundhole rather than using intrusive routing in the body and are simple but effective allowing the most suitable blend between the two pickups and control over the top end. Does it sound any good - of course! This can give very natural transparent acoustic tones with minimal risk of feedback and also has some additional flexibility in producing variations for a jazzier tone. These are guitars for the player who is after an understated, beautifully crafted instrument with simply great tone.

All Lakewood guitars come with a high quality ABS hard case.

We try to keep one of each model in stock at all times, however due to their handmade nature it can take a little while to replace stock when sold so we cant guarantee this.
