DBZ
Dean Zelinsky has been making guitars since 1977 when he made his name with his own designs as Dean guitars at the tender age of 19! Making his mark with some more radical shapes he established himself as a serious contender in the guitar building business with his guitars being wielded by many stars such as ZZ Top and Dimebag Darrell since the eighties. Dean sold the Dean guitar company in 1991 but returned to re-establish the brand in 1996. In 2008 Dean decided to restart so that he could take control of the whole business again and hence DBZ guitars. The guitars are more than just shapes - the design features such as the large headstock and headstock angle add to the sustain. Whilst DBZ guitars are well used by the heavy metal and rock crowds, these guitars are well worth checking out for other styles as they have a vibe and sound of their own and are more versatile than you might imagine. The guitars are made in China and the USA.
